This is what I call the bag after the diaper bag. The sides have gusseted pockets, big enough for juice cups or water bottles. There is an outside pocket with a butterfly applique on it that velcros shut, so it's good for holding something like your wallet or a few dollars or maybe your id. The other side of the bag has an "internal" pocket with a flap and a key-clasp so you can hook your keys on for easy access. This pocket is big enough for a phone, or a toy ~ your choice *grin* The inside if fully lined in pink cotton... there is one divided pocket, one side is gusseted, the other is not. The top of the bag has a velcro closure. All in all, this is a bag great for moms on the go, but could also be handy for a student, or a simple girly bag for errand running...

This is one of my favorite bags I've made in a while. The applique of the bird and flowers turned out so lovely. The base of the bag is constructed in black corduroy and the lining is in a gorgeous green floral calico. I've appliqued a lovely yellow bird sitting in a couple of pink flowers and green viney leaves. The other side of the bag has an outside pocket with a flower on it. The inside of the bag has one pocket and I've added a loop for a key ring or clasp.

Joy to the fishies in the deep blue sea, Joy to you and me! *heheh* This bag is a fine representation of your state of mind. The base of the bag is made up of a medium wale coral corduroy that just rings of happy thoughts. I've appliqued the word "JOY" along with some flowers and leaves onto the bag, using calico, corduroy, and a lovely batik print. All of my appliques are hand drawn and hand sewn, and ll of my appliques are heat bonded before I sew them to the fabric, giving your design extra long life. The inside of the bag is fully lined in a pale pink cotton... I've added a pocket for your odds and ends. Click the picture to see more views of this happy bag, including a close-up of the applique.

This one turned out great... my hubby really wanted me to keep it, but I kept another one instead *heheh* The base of this bag is a warm brown medium wale corduroy. I have appliqued a very pretty mountain desert scene with a lazy river flowing through it. There is a moon against a lavender sky, too. The bag is lined in a perfectly coordinating calico and fastens with a gorgeous wooden bead. This one makes me long for the arid western basin...

I love birds... birdwatching is a favorite pastime of ours. This bag is made up of a soft forest green pinwale corduroy. The bird is hand cut from 6 calicos, five of which make up its splendid tail... it sits on an appliqued scrolling branch with lovely batiked leaves. The lining is a pale green calico with a pocket inside for your keys, etc. This bag is gorgeous... Unique and one of a kind... like you!
