Another wrap skirt outfit... this one is made up of a soft purple calico and a beautiful floral print in palest ivory and purple and green... this is a fabric I've been holding on to for some time. The skirt is constructed in wide and narrow panels. The top is made up of the purple calico with the floral calico edging the top in decorative fashion. This top is not lined, since the fabric is so dark. The top ties at the neck and has one tie in the back.

Oh these outfits are so great!!! The skirt is a wrap around mini skirt made up of a green vine calico and a beautiful floral print in pale ivory and magenta. There are strips of seminole patchwork around the skirt. I appliqued a flower and some swirls on the front of the skirt. The matching halter top is made of the floral calico print and I used the green calico to finish the edges. This top is lined in unbleached muslin. For this sweet skirt, I've used a quilt block pattern as the bottom border. The pattern is known as the Endless Stair. There are two sweet strip pockets in the front. This is a fun skirt that can be dressed up or kept perfectly casual. It kind of reminds me of something from the prairie.

If I have anything fun to wear, it's this skirt! Short and sassy, but still comfy and patchy. There are three earthy calico prints, in a crazy patchwork style. There is a sweet flower applique in the front. The ties are nice and long, and slip through constructed slits and belt loops so it will stay on your hips without riding up anywhere.

Come... let's go to the Forest and take a stroll... that's what this skirt makes me think of... all browns and greens... mmmm... I can smell the moss now. This skirt is made up of over 100 patches. Each patch is cut on a bias, so they are small at the top and wider at the bottom. The spin on this baby is over 100" woohooo!! Please note that there is a water spot on the camera lens and that's why there's a blurry spot on the picture... my dog Finn was zooming by us as we were taking pics... and she was kicking up sand and water, but she missed me! *heheh*
